किश्तवाड़ (ब्यूरो)। पुलिस की कथित यातनाओं के बाद दो स्कूली छात्राएं लापता हो गई हैं। उन्हें आखिरी बार थाने में देखा गया। मंगलवार की सुबह दरिया किनारे से उनकी चप्पलें और चादर बरामद हुईं। इससे एक ओर जहां उनके दरिया में कूदने की आशंका जताई जा रही है वहीं यह सवाल भी उठ रहा है जान देने जा रही लड़कियां चप्पलें किनारे पर क्यों रखेंगी। दोनों लड़कियों के पिताओं का आरोप है कि पुलिस ने उनकी बेटियों की हत्या की है। लड़कियों को मार डालने का आरोप लगाते हुए गुस्साए ग्रामीणों ने थाने पर हमला बोल दिया। पथराव के जवाब में पुलिस ने भी हवाई फायरिंग की। भागने की कोशिश में थाना प्रभारी फारूक खान और कांस्टेबल दिलीप जख्मी हो गए। थाना प्रभारी को लाइन हाजिर कर दिया गया है। गांव में पुलिस और सीआरपीएफ तैनात कर दी गई है। डीसी जीआर भगत के मुताबिक जांच शुरू कर दी है।

गुलाबगढ़ निवासी बारहवीं की छात्रा सपना और दसवीं की छात्रा संगीता एक युवक प्रदीप के साथ नदी किनारे सैर को गईं थीं। पुलिसकर्मी तीनों को पकड़कर थाने ले गए। आरोप है वहां उन्हें बुरी तरह जलील किया गया। मारपीट भी की गई। पुलिस का दावा है कि उन्हें शाम को छोड़ दिया गया। लेकिन थाने जाने के बाद दोनों लड़कियों को किसी ने नहीं देखा। बाद में लड़कियों के मोबाइल फोन पुलिस के पास से मिले। पुलिस के पास इन सवालों के भी जवाब नहीं हैं कि प्रदीप को छात्राओं के साथ ही क्यों नहीं छोड़ा? लड़कियों के मोबाइल अपने पास क्यों रखे? संगीता के पिता जानकी नाथ और सपना के पिता नंदलाल जब थाने पहुंचे तो पुलिसवालों ने उन्हें छात्राओं के मोबाइल दिखाए। सुबह चप्पलें और चादर मिलने पर ग्रामीणों को पुलिस की नीयत पर संदेह बढ़ गया। सारा हुजूम थाने की तरफ बढ़ चला। गुलाबगढ़ थाना प्रभारी भीड़ देखकर घबरा गया। छत से कूदकर भागने का प्रयास किया तो मामला और बिगड़ गया। लोगों ने पुलिस पर दोनों मासूम बच्चियों के साथ ज्यादती कर उनकी हत्या का अंदेशा व्यक्त किया। देखते ही देखते थाने पर पथराव शुरू हो गया और पुलिस की जिप्सी तोड़ दी। पुलिस ने हवाई फायरिंग कर भीड़ को तितरबितर किया। संगीता के पिता जानकी नाथ ने कहा कि पुलिस वालों ने पहले बच्चियों को यातनाएं दीं फिर मार डाला। सपना के पिता नंदलाल ने भी कहा कि थाने पहुंचने पर पुलिस ने दोनों के मोबाइल थमा दिए। सच्चाई यह है कि दोनों को पुलिस ने मारा है।

जम्मू, जागरण संवाददाता : डांस की दुनिया के उभरते सितारे पीयूष भगत भले ही टीवी चैनल कलर्स पर रियलिटी डांस शो चक धूम धूम में अव्वल आने से चूक गए, लेकिन उसने अपनी जोशीली परफारमेंस के दम पर पूरे देश का दिल जीत लिया। शनिवार को मुंबई में आयोजित शो के फाइनल में मुख्य अतिथि बॉलीवुड अभिनेता अक्षय कुमार ने भी पीयूष की जमकर तारीफ की। डांस प्रतियोगिता का सेहरा आगरा के स्पर्श श्रीवास्तव के नाम रहा। जबकि महाराष्ट्र की गौरी इंगवाले गौरी तीसरे स्थान पर रही। कार्यक्रम में गायक शान और फिल्म निर्माता साजिद खान भी मौजूद थे। राज्य में एसएमएस सेवा बंद होने का असर पीयूष के परिणाम पर सबसे अधिक पड़ा। परिणाम घोषित होते ही कई लोगों के मुंह से निकल पड़ा काश! उन्हें भी एसएमएस करने का मौका मिला होता। दादा एसआर भगत जो स्पेशल सेक्रेट्री टू गवर्नमेंट फाइनांस रहें हैं व दादी कल्याणा भगत ने कहा कि पीयूष ने अपने डांस के दम पर राज्य का नाम रोशन किया है। अगर जम्मू में एसएमएस सेवा बंद न होती तो आज पीयूष नंबर एक पर होता। बेशक पीयूष दूसरे स्थान पर रहा, लेकिन वह खुश हैं। मुंबई से दैनिक जागरण के साथ विशेष बातचीत में पीयूष ने कहा कि उसने पहले स्थान के लिए ...  हार कर भी जीत गया जम्मू.. हर संभव प्रयास किया। कोशिश थी कि जम्मू उससे निराश न हो। देशभर से जो प्यार उसे मिला है वह उसके लिए सबका आभारी है। राज्य में एसएमएस बंद होने के कारण उसके हजारों प्रेमी उसकी जीत के लिए एसएमएस नहीं कर सके। पीयूष ने कहा कि अभी तो शुरुआत है। आगे भी मौके मिलते रहे तो वह एक दिन जरूर जम्मू को डांस में नंबर एक का खिताब दिलवा कर रहेगा। दूसरे स्थान पर रहने पर जम्मू के लोगों को निराशा तो हुई, लेकिन वे मायूस नहीं हैं। इसमें कोई शक नहीं कि जम्मू में शनिवार को टेलीवीजन के आगे बैठने वाले हर व्यक्ति की चाहत पीयूष को पहले स्थान पर देखना चाहती थी। खासकर छोटे बच्चों में तो मेगा फाइनल को लेकर विशेष उत्साह था। कार्यक्रम शुरू होते ही पूरा शहर टेलीवीजन के सामने बैठ गया था। कार्यक्रम के अंत तक पीयूष की जीत के लिए दुआएं करते रहे। कार्यक्रम के दौरान जब भी कोई स्टार पीयूष की तारीफ करता लोगों को उम्मीद होने लगती की पीयूष जीत जाएगा। जब उसने साउथ जोन से टाप किया तो उम्मीदें और बढ़ने लगीं, लेकिन अंत में पीयूष को दूसरे स्थान पर ही रहना पड़ा। पीयूष को रनअप रहने पर 11 लाख रुपये इनाम के रूप में दिए गए। जबकि ग्यारह वर्षीय स्पर्श को 25 लाख रुपये का ईनाम मिला। चक धूम धूम शो 13 हफ्तों तक लगातार चला और कार्यक्रम के प्रारंभ में 16 प्रतिभागी थे। कार्यक्रम के फाइनल शो के दौरान प्रतिभागियों द्वारा डिस्को, टैंगो, कथक से लेकर लावणी नृत्य शैलियों का प्रदर्शन किया गया।

JAMMU, July 13: Protests broke out in Gulabgarh area of Padder block of Kishtwar district today after two 12th class girl students went missing following their questioning by the police, with mob damaging Police Station and beating up SHO and Naib Tehsildar. Following daylong violent demonstrations, the administration ordered enquiry into the incident and attached the concerned SHO.
Reports said that two girls---Sapna, daughter of Nand Lal and Sangita, daughter of Janki Nath were sitting near the bank of River Chenab at Gulabgarh along with their class mate Pardeep Kumar alias Ramu, son of Amar Chand last evening when suddenly some cops reached there and took them to Police Station for `normal’ questioning.
As girls were known to some local cops at Police Station and trio revealed that they were studying in 12th class at Government Higher Secondary School Atholi, police first allowed the girls to leave for their homes and then boy. But after leaving police station, the girls went missing and the incident came to fore when the boy narrated entire episode to his parents.
Though the parents of the girls and the villagers tried their level best to trace the missing girls throughout night yet to of no avail and in the morning only sleepers of the girls were recovered from the bank of river Chenab.
As the news spread, a complete bandh was observed in Gulabgarh town and hundreds of people gathered outside the Police Station to ascertain as to what prompted the police to take girls to police station and where they had gone after leaving the police station. The mob gheroed the police station and resorted to stone pelting from all sides. They also badly damaged the official gypsy of the SHO Inspector Farooq Ahmed Wani.
Reports said that when a sentry on duty opened fire in the air to disperse the mob, he was severely thrashed by the agitating people. Sensing the gravity of the situation, the SHO tried to escape from the backyard of the police station but he was chased away by the mob and beaten up severely before being rescued by some Territorial Army personnel in the camp adjoining the police station.
As anger was running high over absence of senior police and civil officers like SDPO and Tehsildar, who were at Kishtwar since yesterday, the mob also assaulted Naib Tehsildar Bal Krishan Badyal when he tried to pacify the agitating people. The violent protest demonstration continued till late in the afternoon when Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were deployed in the area.
Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar, G R Bhagat and SP Kishtwar, Dr Haseeb Mughal also rushed to Gulabgarh and assured the agitating people that an enquiry will be conducted into the conduct of cops and missing of the girls.
But, the agitating people were stressing that SHO should be placed under suspension and FIR be lodged against him. With this demand, people continued protest demonstration till this evening when DC and SP informed them that SHO has been attached and further action would be taken on the completion of enquiry.
Following this assurance, the agitating people dispersed but the DC and SP continued to camp at Gulabgarh keeping in view prevailing law and order situation.
When contacted, DIG Doda-Kishtwar, M K Sinha said that SHO has been attached as he had not acted professionally. "After questioning, the girls should have been restored to their parents", he said, adding "we will be pressing tracker dogs into service tomorrow to trace out the girls as there is no eye-witness even to the claims that girls might have jumped into Chenab"
